About
Two friends, a shared record habit, and a simple idea: put on the kind of night we always wanted to go to, across Bristol, Gloucestershire and Birmingham.
How we started
M&M Promotions began in August 2026, though the friendship behind it started earlier — at a cyber security conference, of all places. Two people who spent their working lives in cyber security discovered a shared and slightly obsessive love of disco, funk and house.
A few charity fundraisers later, playing records together for rooms that did not want to go home, the obvious question came up: why not do this properly? So we did.
We are a new company with a long-standing record habit, and we would rather be honest about that than pretend otherwise. What we bring is taste, care, and a genuine belief that a dancefloor should feel good to be on.
What we do
We put on nights across the South West of England — Bristol, Gloucestershire and Birmingham — showcasing the best of local talent alongside big-name DJs. House, funky house and disco house, played properly, on a system that does it justice.
Who we are
DJ Mapex Harj Singh
Co-founder of M&M Promotions. Harj also works in cyber security and shares the same love of disco, funk and house. After playing charity events together, the pair set up M&M Promotions in August 2026 to bring the best local talent and big-name DJs to the South West.
